A downloadable tool for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android

A tool for drawing cards, determining dice rolls, sorting results by color, and saving progress. It's intended for use in Tabletop Roleplaying Games, Solo RPGs, and Choose Your Own Adventure type books.

Is this program for you? Do you need to keep track of your past card plays and dice rolls over long periods of time and many shuffles? Please give this a try. Otherwise, if you need to quickly roll a lot of dice or don't need any functions of a deck of cards beyond drawing them until you run out, I suggest something like "Custom Image Dice" by Boardnaut Studios, one of the inspirations for this app. I created "DiceCards" for long term game play and history, and I've certainly enjoyed its ability to help me create long narratives without jumbling things up.

Try it here at: https://gd.games/sleepyknight135/dicecards

(I'd have it here, but Itch.io doesn't like the file count in it)

This is my first program and is an absolute MESS of scripting. It's less a program and more of a feverish script-salad of doom. My goal is an almost complete rewrite with code that makes more sense, then adding features and, eventually, bundled Solo Journaling Role Playing Games.

Install instructions

There aren't any requirements I know of. GDevelop's compiler isn't recognized by all operating systems, so security permission may need to be manually given, luckily it's not usually difficult to find the options needed on the warning messages.

I'm not able to test on Apple platforms, so GDevelop's support of DiceCards is practically theoretical to me. Please leave a comment letting me know if/how well it works if you can.
